Evidence-based medicine is not a new concept, but it is rapidly gaining new proponents and practitioners. Some might argue that drug information centers and formulary management constitute foundational evidence-based medicine practice. Yet, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals have tremendous opportunity to bring evidence-based medicine into even greater practice, as described in this new video, the latest in the Current Concepts in Pharmacy Management series. You will hear from an expert panel of healthcare professionals who incorporate evidence-based medicine into their care plans, learn about the "Five A's" of evidence-based medicine, and gain increased appreciation for the importance of integrating evidence, expert opinion and patient's expectations into your daily practice.

Total Running Time: 46 minutes . Expiration Date: 04/24/08

This program qualifies for 1.0 contact hour (0.1 CEU) of continuing education credit.
